The Ultimate Olive Cheese Bread is a deliciously crispy, cheesy, and briny appetizer made with fresh bread, gooey melted cheese, and tangy olives.
Ingredients
1 loaf French bread (or ciabatta)
1 cup Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
1/4 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 cup mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt for a lighter version)
1/4 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup green olives, chopped
1/2 cup black olives, chopped
2 green onions, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional for spice)
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Slice the bread in half lengthwise and place it on the prepared baking sheet.
In a bowl, mix the cheeses, mayonnaise, butter, garlic, and olives until well combined.
Spread the mixture evenly over the bread halves. Sprinkle with green onions and red pepper flakes if using.
Bake for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Broil for 1-2 minutes at the end to get a golden, crispy top.
Remove from oven, garnish with fresh parsley, slice, and serve warm!
