Description
A classic British dessert, Banoffee Pie is a no-bake treat made with a biscuit crust, rich caramel-like toffee, fresh bananas, and whipped cream.

For the base:
- 250g digestive biscuits (or graham crackers)
- 100g melted butter
For the toffee:
- 1 can (397g) sweetened condensed milk
For the toppings:
- 3 ripe bananas
- 300ml heavy whipping cream
- 1 tbsp powdered sugar
- Chocolate shavings or cocoa powder (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the base: Crush the biscuits into fine crumbs and mix with melted butter. Press into a pie dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Make the toffee: Place the unopened condensed milk can in a pot of simmering water for 2–3 hours. Let it cool before opening.
- Assemble the pie: Spread the toffee over the chilled base. Slice the bananas and arrange them on top.
- Whip the cream: Beat the heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form. Spread over the bananas.
- Garnish and serve: Sprinkle with chocolate shavings or a dusting of cocoa powder. Refrigerate for at least an hour before serving.
