Instructions

  1. Prepare the base: Crush the biscuits into fine crumbs and mix with melted butter. Press into a pie dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Make the toffee: Place the unopened condensed milk can in a pot of simmering water for 2–3 hours. Let it cool before opening.
  3. Assemble the pie: Spread the toffee over the chilled base. Slice the bananas and arrange them on top.
  4. Whip the cream: Beat the heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form. Spread over the bananas.
  5. Garnish and serve: Sprinkle with chocolate shavings or a dusting of cocoa powder. Refrigerate for at least an hour before serving.
